Collection wells do not treat sewage. They merely store sewage, once full the collection well or holding tank will be emptied and treated at another location. This is a key way that collection wells differ from septic tanks, which discharge partially treated sewage (called effluent) into the soil for final treatment through an outlet.

The purpose of a pump chamber is to distribute effluent wastewater and sewage to the main sewage system. If there is no sewage system, then the waste will be pumped to a sewage treatment facility such as a septic tank system. The pump chamber can also be used for stormwater.

They do not need any heavy lifting equipment to install or transport and have a riser system that can be adjusted to suit the ground level perfectly without the need to position the tank to suit this. These products whether it’s 3,000 or 30,000 ltr tank you need or just the riser they can do it. The risers are fantastic, lightweight yet very strong, sturdy and well made, these can be installed at any depth. The unit is a once buy, you’ll never have to dig it up again and unlike the concrete alternative, is level with the ground and does not need 2 men to safely lift the lid. It’s a no- brainer get it done today!
